Sansei has won several awards for its outstanding food preparations. Taste of Lahaina Award winning dishes include Asian Shrimp Cake, Mango Crab Salad Roll, Japanese Calamari Salad, and Dungeness Crab Ramen with Asian Truffle Broth. The menu has long lists of appetizers, tapas, soups, salads, noodles, veggies, entrees and desserts. See below for some specific Sansei menu items as well as photos.
Sansei usually has Early Bird discounts, with 25% off most foods ordered from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. But this can vary, so be sure to call ahead to ask. And the line can be long for those Early Birds, so arrive well ahead of time to get in line. (Don’t go for Early Bird on Sunday and Monday, when they are more crowded because of a bigger discount for people who live on Maui.)
Whether you are looking for excellent sushi or for unusual seafood and meat and vegetable preparations, Sansei is a restaurant that I highly recommend.
